We have been in Copenhagen for 2 days now, and unsurprisingly, nothing makes sense. Danish is a language with vowels that I can't pronounce, and the exorbitant tax makes everything double the prices in the US.
It is very charming. We went on a canal tour today to see the North and South Harbor. The weather was chilly for summer, but beautiful. The Scandinavian light makes everything glow a special way. There are many things to see and try to understand. Everywhere you look is a vignette of life here that we are just becoming adjusted to.
Here is an image to sum up the day as I no longer have energy to write articulately.
